Maybe some of you non arabic speakers want to know what my name
means? Basicly it means "Chechnya" in Arabic.

Russian=Чеченская республика
Chechen=Нохчийн Республика

Now you dare ask what is a Chechnya? Not what is but where is...Chechnya is located in the Northern Caucasus mountains, in the Southern Federal District. Chechnya borders Georgia to the south, the Ingushetia and North Ossetia to the west, Dagestan to the northeast and Stavropol Krai to the northwest. Chechnya is one of the many places trying to get their own independece in the federal subjects of Russia. Russia llegally occupies Chechnya for oil and other things. The reports show that between 1994 and 2004 over 200,000 people were killed in Chechnya, including more than 20,000 children. They constantly fought against foreign rule, beginning with the Ottoman Turks in the 15th century. Eventually the Chechens converted to Islam and tensions began to die down with the Turks. However there are still tensions between their neighbours such as Georgians and Cossacks which are Christian majority. There are other tensions including with the Buddhist Kalmyks. There were two Chechen Wars which the secound war lasts untill this day.
